Chicago-raised as an "industry brat" by parents who worked for major record labels and legends like Michael Jackson, Singer/Songwriter Taylor French grew up with a strong awareness of the business built around the Art of recorded sound. After becoming fascinated by songwriting great Stevie Wonder, performance muse Sade, and powerhouse vocalist Mariah Carey-her own Artistry began to surface at age 9 when she began writing her own songs.

Classical music studies led her to tour Europe with a choir at the age of 17, followed by a stint working for Sony Music Entertainment. In 2012, she formed the Alternative R&B duo Diversion with Electronica DJ Nonsense and released a self-titled album following their debut EP Highlife.

New to New York City, the freshly-turned-solo Recording Artist is exploring conceptual freedoms in relation to sonic identity formation. Fusing her classical training with R&B grooves, folk chords and Pop-inspired vocals, Taylor offers a fresh, magnetic tonal vibe.
